Senior Data Analyst
- Location: Toronto, ON—Hybrid (4 days on site)
- Pay Rate: $60.39/hr – $71.31/hr
- Contract Length: 6 Months with a possibility of extension

Responsibilities:
- Working in a project development team—analyzing high-level requirements, liaising with the source system and requestor, creating detailed requirements for use by the development and QE teams, creating user documentation, and running production verification upon implementation.
Must-have Skills:
- At least 3 years of experience within a Senior Data Analyst/Business Analyst-related role
- Experience in data warehousing and/or banking
- AI and GIT knowledge.
- Strong Business Analysis (BA) and/or Data Analysis, superb technical data requirements
- Strong SQL skills, writing queries and data profiling on Teradata Platform
- Superb communication and stakeholder skills
- Expertise in eliciting and documenting business requirements, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Nice-to-have Skills:
- Banking LOB Business knowledge – Huge Nice to have.
- Knowledge of system design principles and ability to interpret data flow diagrams and data models.
- Working Knowledge of Data warehouse, DWE, EDW, CSDM & RBDM
- Ability to read and understand code, enabling effective communication with development teams.
- Familiarity with Git knowledge (the tool/software itself for version control)
- Strong Technical Hands-on experience with on-prem and cloud data warehouse technologies to lead and own the end-to-end EDW projects, collaborating closely with IT and Business Application teams.
- Strong Hands-on leadership to Design, Operationalize, and continuously improve Data and AI-based applications while ensuring adherence to governance and seamless Production Implementation in a highly complex environment.
- Exceptional Team Player with strong Technical Development skills on Applications/Tools like Mainframe, DataStage, SQLs, Python, Git/GitHub (CI/CD pipeline), Reporting Dashboards, Snowflake, Cloud Technologies etc.
- Competence in data analysis tools and techniques, crucial for deciphering complex datasets.
