Business Analyst (Technology Risk)
- Location: Toronto, ON—Hybrid (3 days on-site; Could be remote)
- Pay Rate: $73.92/hr – $87.25/hr
- Contract Length: 4 Months with a possibility of extension

Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and guidance to team members participating in assigned projects
- Manage project documentation (implementation plan, issues log, process maps, reports, FTE analysis, etc.) and monitor results of process design deliverables and project completion
- Benchmark processes and assess the required complement to handle/manage workload
- Monitor and resolve emerging issues at the implementation stage of the project
- May act as SME for the IT team during development of system specs
- Seeks input from the business by facilitating sessions
- Participates in post-implementation review, provides post-implementation support and act as the escalation point for any process issue
- Design and develop strategic training plan associated with introduction of new or enhanced business processes
- Develop and maintain strong relationship with business partners and internal/external team members
- Actively participates as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the business requirements gathering process
Must have skills:
- 6+ years of strong core Business Analysis / Financial Industry (FI) skills.
- Solid experience in technology or operational risk, control management, and governance frameworks.
- Exposure to audit and regulatory compliance matters.
- Exceptional soft skills.
- Functional knowledge of ServiceNow, with hands-on experience in at least one module (preferably ITAM).
- ITSM (Incident, Problem, Change, Request)
- ITAM (IT Asset Management)
- HRSD (HR Service Delivery)
- CSM (Customer Service Management)
Business Analysis Core Skills:
- Proven experience with requirements elicitation (workshops, interviews, stakeholder sessions)
- Strong documentation skills:
- Business Requirements
- Functional Requirements
- User Stories & Acceptance Criteria
- Experience with process mapping (as is / to be, swim lanes, value streams)
- Gap analysis and impact assessment
- UAT planning, execution support, and defect triage
- Experience in the financial services industry with strong understanding of technology and/or operational risk, control, and governance.
