Project Manager – Regulatory Reporting & Technology Enablement
- Pay Rate: $95.59/hour, depending on experience
- Contract Length: 10 Months, potential for extension
- Location: Calgary Alberta (open to remote candidates, working MST)

Note: The primary pay rate is based on T4 classification; however, we will also consider applications from candidates interested in an INC classification, where applicable.
Description
The Project Manager in this role will lead the second phase of the Contract Lifecycle Management Transformation (CLMT) and a suite of critical regulatory reporting initiatives.
This role is pivotal in strengthening the accuracy of enterprise financial reporting and remediating legacy systems. You will be responsible for the finalization of the Ivalua platform, the deployment of specialized risk and sourcing modules, and the critical automation of data feeds. The successful candidate will navigate complex stakeholder landscapes, bridging the gap between Technology Enablement and core Business units to ensure regulatory standards are met with precision.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Successful deployment of Ivalua Risk and Sourcing modules.
Seamless automation of enterprise data feeds for financial reporting.
Delivery of project artifacts that allow for zero-loss momentum during transitions.
Responsibilities
- Stakeholder & Scope Management: Partner with Technology Enablement, Business, and third-party stakeholders to defi ne project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Strategic Alignment: Collaborate with the Program Manager to set program standards (focusing on quality management) and ensure all activities align with broader portfolio goals.
- Execution & Planning: Develop and execute detailed project plans, including resource allocation, timelines, and budget oversight.
- Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify and address risks/issues throughout the project lifecycle; deliver data-driven reports highlighting achievements, risks, and financial status.
- Team Leadership & Vendor Management: Lead cross-functional teams and external vendors, providing the guidance necessary to meet milestones while fostering strong stakeholder relationships.
- Artifact Excellence: Produce and maintain project artifacts to the highest standards, ensuring continuity and clarity for the duration of the engagement.
Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience leading complex IT projects with a focus on business process optimization and organizational change management.
- 3+ years of experience managing cross-functional teams for large-scale, high-visibility corporate initiatives.
- Deep understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) to effectively manage internal developers and external vendors.
- Foundational understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) to bridge the gap between technical developers and business stakeholders.
- Proficient in Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid frameworks, with the ability to pivot based on project requirements.
- Experience or familiarity with automating data feeds and platform deployments (e.g., Ivalua or similar SaaS environments).
- Ability to translate complex technical dependencies into clear business language for executive audiences.
- A commitment to providing candid, unbiased feedback on project timelines and health, independent of internal politics.
- Ability to perform "week one" discovery to identify and remediate risks immediately upon onboarding.
- Adept at "reading the room" and managing diverse stakeholder personalities to build immediate trust without long-term rapport.
- A strict focus on tangible milestones and value delivery over administrative "busy work."
- Education and Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is
- PMP or PMI-ACP designation is highly preferred.
- Certifications such as PRINCE2 or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) (are an asset for this role)
