We are working with a multinational pipeline and energy client that is growing and adding a Document Control Analyst Job Description (UST) to their team.

Job Overview
This role is responsible for managing, tracking, coordinating, storing, and archiving technical drawings for UST assets across all project types for the client, including Operations & Maintenance (O&M), Capital Projects, and Management of Change (MOC) initiatives. The position ensures the integrity, accuracy, and accessibility of drawing data within the Electronic Document Management (EDM) system (Meridian), while supporting internal teams and external partners through effective document control processes and standards.

Key Responsibilities

* Coordinate, receive, issue, track, distribute, and archive technical drawings and documentation using the EDM system for all UST O&M, Capital, and core project work
* Maintain and ensure the integrity and quality of technical drawings and associated metadata within the Meridian system
* Identify, investigate, and resolve issues related to data quality, process gaps, and document control workflows
* Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders by preparing and presenting reports, summaries, and data insights
* Support external consultants and internal teams with drawing control standards, procedures, and project requirements
* Assist in the development, standardization, and continuous improvement of drawing control processes and procedures
* Provide coordination and support for construction and as-built drawing activities for projects delivered by EPC contractors
* Collaborate with Drawing Control Analysts and Drafters across UST, Offshore, and Vector teams to ensure consistency and data integrity
* Prepare and provide technical drawings to internal and external stakeholders, including field site requests
* Manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment
* Participate in special projects and perform additional duties as required
* Adapt established procedures to address new challenges and evolving project requirements

Qualifications

* Diploma in a related technology field or a combination of relevant certifications and 0-3 years of related experience
* Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
* Working knowledge of AutoCAD is considered an asset
* Experience with Meridian or similar document management systems is an asset
* Familiarity with oil and gas industry practices is considered an asset
* Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines
* Ability to analyze and resolve technical and data-related issues with minimal supervision
* Strong written and verbal communication skills with a collaborative approach to teamwork
* Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and adaptable, with a strong sense of accountability and initiative
