Project Manager Customer Energy Management (CEM) – Marketing
- Pay Rate: $50.34/hour, depending on experience

Raise is currently hiring a Project Manager Customer Energy Management (CEM) – Marketing on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader. Our Client, is one of the largest electrical energy suppliers in Canada.
Note: The primary pay rate is based on T4 classification; however, we will also consider applications from candidates interested in an INC classification, where applicable.
Description
The Marketing Project Manager to join the Customer Energy Management (CEM) team. This is a specialized business project management role—not an IT or Engineering position. You will lead multiple projects focused on Non-Wires Alternatives (NWA). This involves using energy efficiency and demand response programs to solve localized grid capacity constraints. You will be responsible for the full project lifecycle: from researching and planning to executing highly targeted recruitment strategies and engagement efforts to ensure program participation targets are met.
Responsibilities
- Manage each project from planning through implementation to final evaluation.
- Develop and manage schedules and activity lists for execution.
- Develop and execute highly targeted recruitment strategies and supporting communications materials to meet participant targets in collaboration with marketing and brand strategy.
- Develop and implement reporting mechanisms and key performance indicators.
- Execute the strategy and supporting tactics; monitor and report results regularly.
- Liaison with various internal stakeholders and staff to provide guidance, address inquiries, project process, and coordinate activities.
- Develop and implement a range of processes, policies and procedures under which each project will operate.
- Work with a variety of external vendors and partners to ensure each project stays on track and meets objectives.
- Work with customers to address any issues or concerns that arise with the project.
- Manage and execute any procurement needs of the project.
- Develop and execute contingency plans as necessary to meet goals.
- Undertake various supporting tasks to complete the project including procurement, Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs), data requests (CDRs), data analysis, and troubleshooting.
- Provide project management and oversight for all assigned projects.
- Coordinate resources to conduct evaluation of projects
- Operations & Governance: Navigate internal processes including Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs), Procurement (Passport), and Customer Data Requests (CDRs).
- Develop and implement project-specific policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- 5 years of project management experience, specifically leading business process change or marketing-driven initiatives.
- Marketing Expertise – Demonstrated experience in developing and executing complex marketing and communication plans.
- Project Tools – Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Project Management software.
- Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills for professional reporting and stakeholder management.
- Strong understanding of business principles and the ability to learn and apply new technologies to meet organizational objectives.
- Desired Qualifications (Nice to Have)
- Utility Industry Knowledge: Past experience working within the electric or gas utility sector.
- Subject Matter Expertise -Knowledge of energy efficiency, demand response programs, or the "Non-Wires Alternatives" solution space.
- Product Development- Experience with new product/program development and launch.
- Familiarity with CEM operations and internal tools (Passport, PIAs, etc.).
- Education and Certifications
- Bachelor s Degree in Engineering, Business, Economics or related discipline
- Project Management Professional (PMP ) designation, preferred
Additional Information
- Ability to come to the office minimum one (1) day per week
- Every contractor must supply their own Windows 11 Laptop computer for the duration of the assignment.
- Every contractor must supply their own “Smart Phone”. This is needed to gain access to the Organizations network.
