Data Entry Clerk
- Pay Rate: $25.00 – $29.00/hour on W2
- Contract Length: 12 months
- Location: Round Rock, TX 78665 (Onsite)
Raise is currently hiring a contract team member on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader.
Overview
- The role is responsible for accurately capturing machine maintenance information provided by field technicians and ensuring it is properly entered, maintained, and tracked in SAP.
- This position supports maintenance operations by redistributing reports, monitoring completion, and maintaining high data quality with minimal supervision.
- The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technically skilled, and comfortable working independently in a structured environment.
Responsibilities
- Enter, update, and maintain machine maintenance data in SAP based on inputs submitted by technicians through SharePoint
- Review maintenance submissions to verify accuracy, completeness, and proper documentation before data entry
- Prepare and organize source data by compiling, sorting, and prioritizing information for timely entry
- Distribute maintenance reports back to technicians for review, updates, and completion
- Follow established data entry procedures, program techniques, and compliance requirements
- Adhere to verbal and written instructions while exercising sound judgment in data handling
- Maintain data integrity and ensure records are current, accurate, and accessible
- Operate with minimal supervision, demonstrating expertise and accountability in daily tasks
Required Qualifications
- Strong working knowledge of SAP, SharePoint, and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in data entry
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal oversight
- Proficient typing and 10-key number entry skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in oil & gas, industrial, or commercial maintenance environments
- Familiarity with machinery maintenance schedules and preventive maintenance processes
- Advanced expertise in data entry or maintenance systems; professional certification a plus
