Operations Support Supervisor
Pay Rate: $24.00 – $26.00/hour on W2, depending on experience.
Work Type: Onsite – Lafayette, LA 70508
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 am – 5:00 pm | Overtime
Duration: 12-month contract with possibility of extension and/or conversion based on performance and other factors.
Additional Details: Standard Driver’s License and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) are required.
Raise is currently hiring an Operations Support Supervisor on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader.
Job Overview:
The Operations Support Supervisor is responsible for deliver safe, efficient, and reliable PSD to customers. The Operations Support Supervisor identifies opportunities to improve service delivery, and provides technical assistance.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary lead for logistics contracts, transportation scheduling, and shop floor oversight.
- Ensure job deliverables are accurate and delivered on time.
- Provide technical assistance to various projects as required.
- Ensure technical designs meet internal and customer requirements prior to signoff by the Design/Technical Engineer or Technical Expert.
- Support technical integrity and competency by comprehending and supporting the Design-Execute-Evaluate process.
- Collect and collate information of key performance indicators.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Prior experience working in a shop environment is required. A background in physical shop operations is preferred.
- Strong hands-on ability to manage day-to-day warehouse or shop floor tasks.
- No prior Oil & Gas experience is needed.
- Previous forklift experience is a plus, but the company will provide onsite certification if needed. Basic computer skills is required but their software is very user friendly.
