Pay Rate: Up to $17.00/hour on W2, depending on experience

Work Type: Onsite – Katy, TX 77494

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday | 2nd Shift | 2:00 pm – 10:00 pm

Duration: 12-month contract with possibility of extension and/or conversion based on performance and other factors.

Additional Details: Standard Driver’s License and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) are required.

Raise is currently hiring an Extrusion Machine Operator on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare metal inserts by sandblasting, taping and applying adhesive.
  • Trim finished rubber parts.
  • Operate extruders and other machines as they relate to the preparation of raw material.
  • Maintenance of equipment and raw materials requirements as established on the Production Order.
  • Follows Cameron’s Quality Policy to ensure the production of quality parts.
  • Trains other employees and imparts personal knowledge of parts, procedures, machines, etc.
  • Perform various other duties and activities within the physical constraints of the job.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow written work instructions and drawings.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality.
  • Safety-first mindset; strict adherence to HSE rules.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing/shop-floor environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.
  • Items over 50 lbs require mechanical assistance (cranes) or team lifting.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have:

  • Prior experience in a manufacturing or shop environment.
  • Exposure to rubber molding, machine operation, or production equipment.
  • Experience using hand tools (knives, grinders).
  • Familiarity with production or shop-floor processes.

Safety:

  • Strong emphasis on HSE compliance.
  • Steel-toe shoes required.
