Operator : 2nd Shift (Charlotte, NC)
- Pay Rate: $$19.49/hour (on W2)
- Contract Length: 6 Months
- Work Schedule: 2nd Shift, 7pm-5am
Raise is currently hiring a Operator : 2nd Shift in Charlotte, NC on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader.
Job Overview
Bulk Plant Operators are responsible for the blending/pulling flour process and the loading of flour into trucks. The process currently operates six days a week with an occasional seventh day. Working weekends and holidays is based from customer demand and required when needed.
Job Requirements:
- Perform operational duties in an industrial, flour loading facility
- Monitor various loading parameters and physically take readings from machinery during the loading process
- Assess current operating conditions and make process adjustments as needed to keep critical product specifications
- Perform necessary gmp’s and cleaning duties, may also include cleaning machinery, fixing machinery, and other duties as assigned
- Must continually gain knowledge in the operational process in order to produce a quality finished product and be able to trouble shoot potential process problems
- Demonstrate the ability to learn new jobs
- Must work in a safe and workman like fashion
- Must have ability and willingness to identify and report safety concerns
- Report to duty on time and ready to work
Education Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
- Basic understanding of computers and math comprehension
Physical Requirements:
- Must have the ability to climb stairs, lift, bend, kneel, stand for long periods, work in confined spaces, work with heights, and work in hot and cold temperatures and a dusty environment
- Exhibit good work habits, including excellent attendance and individual productivity
