Risk Analyst—Proficient
- Location: Toronto, ON—Hybrid (Days onsite, with Wednesday being mandatory)
- Pay Rate: $46.20/hr – $54.53/hr
- Contract Length: 12 months.
Our client is the Canadian gold standard in the Financial Services Industry. We at Raise are hiring a Risk Analyst- Proficient one of our top clients. After establishing themselves as an industry leader, they’re now expanding their team to meet rising demand.
Responsibilities:
- Support day-to-day operations to enable supplier governance and oversight activities throughout the third-party lifecycle using various tools and applications to support adherence to Third-party risk monitoring activities.
- Provide advisory support to key stakeholders in the Risk Assessment process, which may include clarification on communications on change management activities supporting the rollout of enterprise policies and standards, processes, and tools.
- Identify process gaps and make recommendations for driving efficiencies and improvements within the Functions Supplier Management program and integration initiatives.
- Drive continuous improvements to ensure operational excellence, including maintenance, quality control, gap analysis, and opportunities for improvement of processes and procedures.
- Develop, build, and manage effective relationships across Functions and other Banking Business Platforms, including procurement, supplier management offices, and centers of governance.
- Resolve operational issues, risks, and conflicts; work in collaboration with the key stakeholders, escalating where required

- Support various ad hoc projects supporting program enhancements, process improvements, and documentation
Must-have skills:
- 2+ years of experience in Supplier Risk / Risk Management, including risk and governance practices, framework methodologies, and supplier management lifecycle.
- Strong soft skills, with a customer-service focus, sense of urgency, excellent prioritization, and strong team collaboration
- Working knowledge of tools such as Archer, Ivalua, Concur, or equivalent risk and compliance tool software
- Strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables
