Logistics Specialist
- Pay Rate: $22.00/hour on W2
- Contract Length: 3 months with a possibility of extension
- Location: Orlando, FL 32822 (Onsite)
- Work Schedule: 1st Shift (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM) | 2nd Shift (3:30 PM – 12:00 AM)
Raise is currently hiring a contract team member on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader.
Overview
- This role operates in a warehouse environment and is responsible for a variety of logistics and material handling tasks.
- Responsibilities include order processing using SAP, receiving and inspection, packing, shipping, stocking materials, and supporting inventory management.
Responsibilities
- Receive incoming materials using SAP
- Inspect shipments for damage, verify quantities, and ensure proper documentation
- Process outbound shipments to customers globally
- Stock materials and pull inventory as needed
- Ensure proper packaging for all shipments
- Perform cycle counts and inventory tracking
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks regularly
- Work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Support various warehouse functions as required
- Perform additional duties assigned by the team leader
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license
- 2+ years of forklift and hand truck operation experience
- 2+ years of warehouse, logistics, or related experience
- 1+ year of ERP system experience
- 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Excel and Word
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ year of SAP experience
- 5+ years of Excel experience
- 2+ years of inventory control or loss prevention experience
- 2+ years of shipping and receiving experience
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. regularly and up to 70 lbs. occasionally (with assistance)
Additional Requirements
- Safety shoes required
- Strong computer skills (Excel and SAP experience required)
- Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience in inventory control, shipping & receiving, or similar
- Comfortable working in a light industrial/warehouse environment
- Must follow all safety protocols
