Quality Technicians
- Pay Rate: $23.00-$33.00/hour depending on experience
- Contract Length: 6 months with possible extension and/or conversion based on performance and other factors.
- Location: Shreveport, LA 71107
- Additional Information: Standard License and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) are required.

Summary
- Responsible for performing quality control activities with a focus on electrical components, systems, and assemblies.
- Ensures compliance with specifications, standards, and safety requirements through inspections, testing, and documentation within the assigned organization.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct inspections and tests on electrical components, wiring, control panels, materials, equipment, and subassemblies to verify compliance with engineering specifications and applicable standards.
- Review and validate documentation, including schematics, wiring diagrams, and test procedures.
- Use calibrated electrical measurement equipment (e.g., multimeters, megohmmeters) with acceptable repeatability and reproducibility.
- Perform functional testing of electrical systems and troubleshoot non-conformances.
- Document inspection and test results using designated business systems, following applicable procedures and electrical test plans.
- Participate in job risk analysis and support continual improvement initiatives.
- Ensure stability and consistency of test results over time.
- Maintain good housekeeping and organization within testing and inspection areas.
- Take personal responsibility for safety and adhere to related Risk Assessments and Lockout/Tagout procedures.
- Apply principles and tools of the Manufacturing System to drive continuous improvement in quality processes.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; technical training or certification in electrical systems preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, drawings, and procedures.
- Experience with electrical inspections, testing, or troubleshooting in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and oral instructions.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel; experience with quality management systems is a plus.
- Familiarity with industry standards.
- Prior experience in quality control or electrical testing preferred.
