Maintenance Associate
Pay Rate: $20.00 – $24.00/hour, depending on experience.
Work Location: Onsite – Carmichaels, PA 15320
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday | 5:00 am Start | 8-hour & 10-hour | 5 days on 2 off
Duration: 3-month contract with possible extension/conversion based on performance and other factors.
Additional Details: Standard Driver’s License and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) are required.
Raise is currently hiring a Maintenance Associate on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader.
Job Overview:
The Maintenance Associate is responsible to perform maintenance activities per the Maintenance Program and ensure on-time delivery of equipment in accordance with operational demand. The Maintenance Associate supports initiatives to improve the maintenance-related Cost of Service Delivery (CoSD), Maintenance Efficiency, People Productivity, and Asset Availability within the Center of Reliability and Efficiency (CRE) or Maintenance Base (MB), or Maintenance Center.
Responsibilities:
- Under direct supervision of either a Maintenance Supervisor, or Maintenance Technician, perform assigned higher-level maintenance activities.
- Adhere to transactional discipline within Technology Lifecycle Management (TLM) business systems, accurately capturing maintenance related data.
- Comply with Schlumberger and respective division TLM standards.
- Maintain and build competency in compliance with the TLM Competency Management System.
- Participate in and support continuous improvement (CI) initiatives.
- Build production trees for oilfield operations.
- Use cranes to move heavy valves and bolt them into configurations.
- Operate hydraulic torque wrenches, air impact wrenches, and manual torque wrenches.
- Participate in hose cleanup and organization (forklift used for heavy lifting).
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- No minimum required; experience is a plus.
- Ability to work well with others.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Physical strength for handling large wrenches and hoses.
- Hydraulic torque equipment, air impact wrenches.
- Hydraulic test bays.
- Painting experience (future need).
- Small diesel engine repair (bonus).
Work Environment:
- Steel-toe boots required, preferably provided by the contractor.
- Company provides coveralls, hard hat, safety glasses, gloves.
