Senior Financial Analyst
- Pay Rate: $56-$59/hour on W2
- Contract Length: 1 Year
- Location: Salt Lake City, UT 84111 (Hybrid)

Overview
- The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for preparing and analyzing financial data to ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulatory standards, and to support the organization’s financial objectives.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine project and fixed asset accounting tasks, month end close, and reporting activities.
- Able to work well under tight deadlines and constantly reprioritize tasks as needed.
- Performs self-review to ensure balances agree to supporting documentation, schedules, and formulas are accurate, variances are well-documented, and judgments are sound.
- Maintain a continuous improvement and continuous learning mentality and work with the people leader to proactively pursue system and process enhancements, where warranted.
- Exercise professional skepticism in methodology and purpose of assignments, as well as in analysis performed during assignments.
- Support Unify (ERP conversion to Oracle Cloud) on upcoming releases.
- Coordinate with other Finance groups on month-end close, special projects/requests, and lead all aspects of issue resolution.
- Support internal control activities, audit, and requests.
Required Qualifications
- University or college degree in business, commerce, or related field.
- 2+ years of relevant accounting/finance experience.
- Accounting designation (i.e. CPA/CMA) or working towards a designation
- Outstanding interpersonal skills combined with a results-oriented mentality while being able to share knowledge, experience, and training with all team members in a non-biased manner.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and system knowledge using querying tools and pivot tables.
- Demonstrated solid understanding of accounting principles (US GAAP), internal controls, and related systems and processes
- Independently assess, exercise good judgement, and accurately resolve issues encountered in the performance of job duties.
- Proactive in soliciting knowledge from team members and business clients to use in completing assignments.
- An excellent written and verbal communicator with an ability to communicate in a clear, concise, and organized manner.
