Field Operator/WellSite Operator
- Pay Rate: $36.44 to 43.89/hour, depending on experience
- Contract Length: 1 Year
- Location: Lloydminster, Saskatchewan
Raise is currently hiring a Field Operator/WellSite Operator on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader. Our Client, the third largest producer of Canadian oil and natural gas and the second largest refiner and upgrader with extensive midstream and downstream infrastructure.
Note: The primary pay rate is based on T4 classification; however, we will also consider applications from candidates interested in an INC classification, where applicable.
Description
The Field Operator / Wellsite operator in this role will perform day-to-day oil and gas operations at sites as assigned, including operation of assets, maintenance and incident reporting.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrates commitment to policies, values, safety and regulatory compliance, and the operational integrity program.
- Carries out production changes as directed by supervisors.
- Supports other operators and contractors to perform day to day operations activities and procedures in compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements.
- Maintains and operates equipment including wells, treating facilities, water injection systems, gathering systems and compressors.
- Completes and maintains production and operations records ( e.g. volume balances, log sheets, work permits, and required reports) for accuracy and timely reporting.
- Responds to all emergency situations and/or incidents in compliance with ERP through ICS and notifies on and off site.
Qualifications
- 8-10 years of relevant work experience in the oil and gas industry.
- Experience operating and troubleshooting rotating equipment (compressors, pumps), separators, and line heaters.
- Knowledge of water injection systems and gathering systems to maintain production integrity
- Ability to read and interpret P&IDs (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams) to safely isolate equipment for maintenance.
- Experience using SAP or a similar CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
- Clean Class 5 Driver’s License.
- Education and Skills
- Power Engineering certificate (typically 4th or 3rd Class)
- Valid H2S Alive, First Aid/CPR, Common Safety Orientation (CSO),
