Title: Compliance & Administrative Coordinator

Overview:
Raise is seeking a Compliance & Administrative Coordinator to join our Global Operations team. This role is an on-site role that supports both the Compliance team and core operational functions across Raise. This individual is the primary point of contact for compliance-related inquiries submitted by our North American workforce and also manages essential administrative, shipping, and office operations tasks.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, resourceful, and comfortable balancing sensitive compliance matters with hands-on administrative work. They demonstrate strong judgment when gathering information, asking clarifying questions, assessing risk, and escalating issues appropriately. They are collaborative, highly organized, and able to navigate competing priorities while maintaining accuracy, professionalism, and confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities:
Compliance Intake & Case Management
· Monitor and manage compliance-related tickets submitted through Salesforce.
· Engage with employees by asking for clarifying, contextual questions to accurately assess each inquiry.
· Document, track, and follow up on compliance cases from intake to closure.
· Take ownership of cases and drive them toward resolution to the best of their ability.
Compliance Triage & Escalation
· Evaluate cases to determine next steps, including when to escalate to HR, Legal, Payroll, or Corporate Services.
· Provide accurate, complete documentation and context with every escalation.
· Maintain structured intake logs to support audit requirements and compliance reporting.
· Identify recurring themes, risks, or gaps and escalate them for review or improvement.
Auditing & Quality Assurance
· Conduct audits to verify proper worker classification, pay structures, and alignment with internal policy and regulatory standards.
· Identify and flag discrepancies, missing documentation, or potential compliance risks.
· Maintain audit-ready records and ensure consistent application of compliance requirements.
· Support periodic reviews of contractors, workflows, and historical tickets to identify process or training needs.
Administrative Duties & On-site Operations
· Mail Processing: Open, sort, scan, and distribute physical mail to relevant Raise team members.
· Financial Support: E-cash checks using JP Morgan Chase systems in collaboration with Finance.
· Shipping & Logistics: Coordinate domestic shipping across the U.S. for multiple teams, including: anniversary gifts, IT equipment, Marketing swag and branded items.
· Equipment Management:
o Receive and log returned laptops and equipment from departing employees.
o Prepare, package, and ship equipment to staff when required.
· Marketing Event Support:
o Ship and coordinate materials for major events such as ProcureCon.
o Manage 5–10 annual print orders (e.g., discussion documents) and coordinate local pickups with the Houston office.
· Event & Culture Support:
o Coordinate logistics for the annual Holiday Party.
o Support planning and execution of B Corp Day activities and related culture initiatives.
· General Administration: Assist with document printing, coordination tasks, vendor pickups, and other administrative duties as requested by Admin, Marketing, IT, and Compliance teams.
Cross-functional Collaboration
· Collaborate with Compliance, HR, Legal, Payroll, Marketing, IT, and Corporate Services to support accurate case resolution and administrative operations.
· Seek subject-matter guidance when issues require specialized expertise.
· Provide feedback to support continuous improvement of policies, procedures, and workflows.
Qualifications:
· Previous experience in working with candidates, candidate management (contract or permanent), staffing coordination, or a related field preferred.
· Inquisitive and efficient at gathering context, identifying risks and escalating appropriately.
· Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate with contractors and internal stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
· High attention to detail and data integrity.
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team, with a proactive and solutions-oriented mindset.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and experience with project management or CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software preferred.
· Willingness to learn workplace environment safety practices and regulations, particularly related to contractor engagement and compliance.
· High level of professionalism and discretion when handling confidential information.
