  • Contract Length: 6 Months
  • Location: McArthur River, Saskatchewan
    • Fly In Fly Out Camp accommodations provided
    • Rotation (2 weeks in-2 weeks out, 11 hours a day)
    • Company Charter Flights provided – Departing from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan

Raise is currently hiring two (2) Maintenance Planners on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader. Our Client is a Canadian global leader in exploration, mine engineering, and environmental protection.

Description 

The Senior Maintenance Planner in this role will play a critical role in the reliability of our operations. You will be responsible for the end-to-end preparation of work order packages, ensuring that all labor, materials, and equipment are synchronized for maximum efficiency. By optimizing maintenance strategies and managing the backlog, you ensure that our equipment availability remains high while maintaining the highest safety standards in a mining environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop complete work order packages, manage material, labour availability and delivery.
  • Develop repair plans, optimize maintenance plans to improve maintenance activities.
  • Maximize equipment availability and maintenance worker efficiency.
  • Create and modify work plans to ensure preventive and predictive maintenance efficiencies.
  • Be responsible for backlog management, reporting and follow up.
  • Assist with bills of materials and equipment data, preparing reports and scheduling support
  • Other tasks as assigned

Qualifications

  • 5 years of dedicated maintenance planning experience specifically within a mining or heavy industrial setting, within a total career span of 10+ years.
  • Demonstrated success in managing the full maintenance lifecycle: work identification, planning, kitting, scheduling, execution, and close-out.
  • Software Proficiency:
    • Advanced knowledge of SAP PM (Work Management & Master Data modules).
    • Expertise in MS Office (specifically Excel for data analysis).
    • Experience with Prometheus EAM and SIGGA BRIZZO is considered a significant asset.
  • Understanding of industrial safety standards and a commitment to integrating safety protocols into every work package.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to act as a liaison between operations, engineering, and trade technicians.
  • Education and Skills 
    • Valid Saskatchewan or interprovincial journeyperson trade certificate as an Electrician or Instrumentation Technologist (retiree accepted)
    • Professional designation such as CMRP (Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional), MMP (Maintenance Management Professional), or AMP (Asset Management Professional) is highly preferred.

  • As this is a safety Sensitive Role Pre-access substance testing will be required
