  • Location: Toronto, ON—Hybrid (4 days on site—Maybe flexible)
  • Pay Rate: $83/hr – $100/hr
  • Contract Length: 12 Months.

Responsibilities:

Project Leadership & Delivery:

  • Lead the end-to-end data migration workstream, ensuring alignment with program timelines and objectives.
  • Develop, maintain, and execute detailed project plans covering data extraction, cleansing, transformation, validation, and reconciliation activities.
  • Ensure cross-functional resource coordination across ERP experts, data analysts, BI teams, and PCO support.
  • Monitor project risks, issues, and dependencies, implementing proactive mitigation strategies.

Data Migration Oversight:

  • Oversee all phases of the data lifecycle: mapping (completed), cleansing, transformation, load preparation, test cycles, and final migration/cutover.
  • Validate what data requires cleansing, identify data quality gaps, and ensure remediation plans are executed.
  • Coordinate test cycles related to data migration (unit testing, SIT, UAT).
  • Support reconciliation, auditing, and validation of migrated datasets.

Stakeholder & Vendor Management:

  • Serve as the primary liaison between functional teams, consultants, and business unit leadership.
  • Facilitate decision-making and ensure stakeholders understand project status, risks, and impacts.
  • Manage relationships with Big 4 consulting partners working on project components.
  • Communicate effectively with senior leadership, preparing executive-level reporting and presentations.

Governance & Quality Assurance:

  • Ensure compliance with project governance frameworks.
  • Maintain high-quality documentation, including RAID logs, steering committee materials, and status dashboards.
  • Drive continuous improvement and identify opportunities to streamline data migration processes.

Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of Project Management experience, with significant exposure to large-scale technology or business transformation programs.
  • 2–3 successful ERP or complex data migration projects delivered end to end (mandatory).
  • PMP certification is strongly preferred.
  • Deep understanding of data migration methodologies, data quality assessment, transformation logic, validation cycles, and cutover planning.
  • Familiarity with ERP ecosystems 
  • Exceptional soft skills, including communication, conflict resolution, leadership, and negotiation.
  • Proven ability to manage senior stakeholders, including external consultants from Big 4 firms.
  • High capability in navigating data-heavy, high-visibility enterprise programs.
