Pay Rate: $14.5 – $16.5/hour on W2
Work Type: On-site, 1201 Radio Road, Redwood City, CA, 94065
Work Schedule: 08:30 AM – 05:30 PM EST
Duration: 4 months

Job Overview:
Our client is currently seeking a Hospitality Service Specialist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

* Follow established guidelines and procedures for receiving, documenting, organizing, and distributing client kitchen supplies
* Ensure customer requests to set up meeting rooms are completed in a timely manner in accordance with Client standards and client instructions
* Exhibit ability to take verbal instructions while taking notes to properly respond to and handle client service requests
* Provide immediate attention and acknowledgment to customers entering the kitchen area in accordance with Client’s standard of operation
* Perform walk-throughs of various floors to inspect and ensure all rooms are clean, stocked with supplies, and ready for the next meeting
* Perform cleaning, dusting, and other incidental tasks as assigned
* Demonstrate excellent customer service skills and good communication skills
* Ability to multi-task and willingness to clean up after others
* Monitor and listen to customers to understand inquiries and requests in order to provide accurate and prompt assistance with meeting room setup and cleanup

Requirements:

* Be personable, articulate, knowledgeable, and professional in a professional setting
* Ability to learn skills quickly
* Flexibility in dealing with simultaneous projects
* Attention to detail
* Ability to function with a high level of patience, tact, and diplomacy when handling complaint situations
* Ability to lift or move 40 lbs. or greater
* Fine and/or gross motor skills, including the ability to grasp, lift, carry, or otherwise move packages on a standard wheeled cart with a load capacity of 100 lbs.
* Ability to walk, bend, kneel, stand, and/or sit for extended periods of time
* Manual dexterity required for operating office machinery (phone, copy machines, binding equipment, etc.)
* Working knowledge of Microsoft products related to the position, including but not limited to:
* Outlook
* Word
* Excel
* Reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required
* Visual acuity
* Excellent organizational and communication skills
* Strong initiative with the ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision

Qualifications:

* High School Diploma or equivalent
* Minimum of 1 year professional-level work experience
* Previous experience in a client service-oriented field
* Willingness and ability to learn new skills
* Minimum of 6 months customer service, hospitality, or housekeeping experience
