We’re Raise, and we’ve joined forces with our client Accerta, who are looking to hire a full-time, permanent Operations Analyst. This is a hybrid position.

Accerta Services Inc, is a B Corp certified social enterprise enabling healthcare equality for all. As a social enterprise, they manage dental, vision, drug, and healthcare benefits programs exclusively for government and social services agencies in Canada. Their targeted experience and innovative technology provide cost savings, reliable service, process continuity, and accurate, insightful data that enables governments to make informed strategic decisions, reducing stress on the healthcare system through streamlined administration.

As the new Operations Analyst, you’ll be the master of operational efficiency within the company. You’ll be responsible for optimizing day-to-day processes related to program administration, ensuring seamless operations, and enhancing overall effectiveness across all programs supported by Accerta. Responsibilities include overseeing client registration, managing eligibility for clients and service providers, executing and maintaining funding agreements, and managing the full life cycle of funding, including reconciliation for core clinical services. You’ll identify bottlenecks, analyze data and key KPIs, and implement process enhancements to drive continuous improvements.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional communication skills, essential for optimizing operational efficiency within Accerta. They will be adept at building their own queries and utilizing reporting tools to analyze data and identify bottlenecks. With a focus on problem-solving and providing innovative solutions, the candidate will make informed recommendations to drive continuous improvement.

Primary Accountabilities:

  • Data Analysis: Operations Analysts will leverage data analysis techniques to extract insights from large datasets, uncover trends, and identify opportunities for process optimization.
  • Process Evaluation: Operations Analysts will critically evaluate existing operational processes, identify inefficiencies, and propose and implement improvements to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
  • Risk Management: Operations Analysts will actively monitor operational risks, ensure compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements, and implement controls to mitigate potential risks.
  • Performance Monitoring: Operations Analysts will track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational performance, identify areas for improvement, and ensure targets are met

Details:

This is a full-time, permanent position offering a hybrid work model that blends remote work with planned in-office days. You will be required to visit the Toronto office twice a month at a minimum and ideally once a week. Schedules will be determined in partnership between individuals, managers, and the team. While enjoying the flexibility of working from home, the work schedule is Monday through Friday, core business hours.

The position offers a competitive base salary in the range of $75,000 – $85,000/per year, depending on experience. Additionally, you will receive a comprehensive benefits package and a Defined Benefit Pension Plan starting from your first day. Other perks include vacation time, a performance-based bonus, internet allowance, time off to volunteer within the community, and a one-time home office allowance.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Degree in Analytics, Business Administration, or Finance preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience in an analytical or operational analyst role
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques such as Excel, Power BI, SQL, or statistical software
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to clearly communicate and share solutions
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize and meet tough deadlines
  • Knowledge of Process Mapping Techniques
  • Project Management Professional certification (PMP) is an asset
  • Lean Six Sigma or other process improvement certification or knowledge is a plus
