Packaging Associate
- Pay Rate: $17.00 – $20.00/hour, depending on experience
- Contract Length: 1 month
- Location: London, ON N6N1H1 (Onsite)
- Work Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM with 1-hour lunch
Raise is currently hiring a contract team member on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader.
Overview
- We are seeking a reliable and detail‑oriented Temporary Packaging Assistant to support our on‑site operations in London, Ontario.
- This role plays a key part in our sample handling workflow by ensuring accurate packaging, labeling, and shipment of materials.
- Candidates must be comfortable working around agricultural chemicals and treated seed.
Responsibilities
- Perform repetitive sample packaging tasks with accuracy.
- Apply correct labeling to all packaged samples.
- Prepare treated samples and other materials for shipping following established procedures.
- Follow all written and verbal instructions carefully.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Adhere to safety protocols and proper PPE requirements.
- Handle all materials and information with strict confidentiality.
Qualifications
- Flexible — no specific education requirement.
- Experience in packaging, production, or lab settings is an asset.
- Willingness to learn and follow established procedures.
- Comfortable working around agricultural chemicals and treated seed (training and PPE provided)
