SAP SuccessFactors Consultant
- Pay Rate: $86.93 hour, depending on experience
- Contract Length: 14 Months

Raise is currently hiring an SAP SuccessFactors Consultant on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader. Our Client, is one of the largest electrical energy suppliers in Canada
Note: The primary pay rate is based on T4 classification; however, we will also consider applications from candidates interested in an INC classification, where applicable.
Description
As the SAP Functional Consultant, you will act as a lead consultant providing expert SAP implementation services. You will be responsible for supporting our clients business operations by leading projects and initiatives that integrate SAP SuccessFactors with enterprise applications. You will bridge the gap between complex business requirements and technical solutions, ensuring all projects align with organizational objectives, safety standards, and industry best practices.
Responsibilities
- Solution Leadership: Lead full-cycle SAP SuccessFactors implementations as a Solution Architect or Lead Consultant—from project preparation and design through to cutover and go-live support.
- Functional Design: Lead business requirements analysis, fit-gap sessions, and detailed functional design. You will translate requirements into robust system configurations while adhering to BC Hydro standards.
- Project Management: Manage and execute project deliverables for enterprise-wide initiatives, ensuring they are completed with high quality, on time, and within budget.
- Technical Documentation: Produce high-quality documentation, including functional specifications, workflows, and technical designs, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure end-to-end alignment.
- Integration & Configuration: Implement SAP solutions and their integrations with other enterprise systems. Balance the use of SAP standard solutions with strategic enhancements to meet business needs.
- Mentorship: Provide professional guidance, expertise, and knowledge transfer to team members and relevant stakeholders.
Qualifications
- 7 years in SAP implementation and support, with at least 5 years of hands-on experience specifically in SAP SuccessFactors Recruitment.
- At least 3 years of experience in end-to-end implementations of SuccessFactors Recruitment and Onboarding.
- 5 years of experience in a Lead Consultant, Integration Manager, or Solution Architect role.
- Proficient in documenting workflows, functional specifications, and designing custom reports, interfaces, and enhancements.
- Nice-to-Haves:
- Hands-on configuration experience in Employee Central (EC).
- Experience with Plateau Report Designer (PRD) for custom report development.
- Knowledge of the SAP Utility Industry and new technologies such as S/4HANA.
- Familiarity with cloud solutions that complement the SAP ecosystem.
- Education and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field (or equivalent SAP-specific certification).
- Current certification in SuccessFactors Recruitment, Onboarding, and Learning Management (LMS).
- Exceptional written and spoken communication skills for a professional environment; strong presentation and facilitation abilities.
- Deep understanding of business processes and the ability to design solutions that drive operational value.
- Expert knowledge of IT service implementation and support methodologies.
- A strategic mindset for balancing standard SAP functionality with necessary customizations.
Additional Information
- Local candidate preferred but will consider remote candidates.
- Every contractor must supply their own Windows 11 Laptop computer for the duration of the assignment.
- Every contractor must supply their own “Smart Phone”. This is needed to gain access to the Organizations network.
