- Publish several daily, monthly, and quarterly summary reports of ongoing results and prepare other ad-hoc analyses in a timely manner.
- Develop new standard reports in Excel and Power BI Dashboards such that they can be prepared efficiently in a repeatable manner.
- Communicate summary results of analysis findings and associated reports to project teams, senior leaders, and other audiences as needed.
- Support and/or execute the facilitation of Customer Services processes (including forecast deep-dive reviews and project releases).
- Apply analytical skills and judgment to analyze and recommend solutions to improve processes and close Portfolio reporting gaps to meet the needs of all project participants.
- Develop documentation of operational processes and analysis managed by the team.
- Work with partners in Technology Business Unit to ensure backend system architecture for reports and dashboards is delivered and sustained, allowing for on-demand accessibility of data.
- Develop relationships with other subject matter experts within and outside of BC Hydro who are involved in performance reporting and advanced data analytics.
- Support senior team members/Team Leads as required.
- Resolve moderately complex problems independently under areas of authority, occasionally seeking input from others on more complex issues.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of relevant work experience, with demonstrated capabilities in reporting and data analytics using Power BI, MS Excel, VBA, and MS Power Query.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to summarize data to visually tell a story using PowerPoint and Power BI Dashboards.
- Solid experience using advanced visualization tools like Power BI, writing DAX and M Code, and using data transformation in Power BI.
- Strong coordination and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with various stakeholders among cross-functional teams to facilitate sessions and processes.
