* Additional Details: Driver’s Abstract Required. Must have a valid G-class driver’s license and access to a vehicle.

Raise is currently hiring a contract team member on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader.

Responsibilities

* Meet or exceed assigned Commercial and/or Affordable Housing sales targets in support of DSM Revenue Target achievement.
* Work independently to find/deliver technical solutions and complete custom energy efficiency calculations for assigned accounts.
* Establish and build operational and technical relationships with customers, at all levels in the organization, aimed at building long-term trust and commitment from the customer to achieve natural gas usage reduction targets.
* Establish alliances with business partners (i.e., contractors, equipment suppliers, manufacturers, engineering consultants, etc.) to facilitate the development and implementation of energy efficiency projects.
* Proactive outreach to assigned accounts and ability to conduct site walk-throughs to assist customers with the identification, business screening, and technical evaluation of potential energy conservation opportunities.
* Assist in identifying key threats and opportunities in the delivery of the Commercial and/or Affordable Housing programs for assigned segments.
* Provide market intelligence and insights to the internal program design team to assist in the adjustment to current program offerings and the development of future energy conservation programs.
* Develop, update, and execute annual account plans for assigned territory and customers.
* Provide accurate and timely personal outlooks and forecasts for the current year energy conservation delivery results.
* Work cooperatively with team members and cross-boundary colleagues to complete assigned work safely, accurately, and on time while supporting company values and demonstrating key competencies.
* Timely implementation of projects into DSM tracking systems of all potential, active and completed projects that are verifiable and capable of withstanding the audit and verification process and provide specific support during customer audit verification process as required.
* Attend and present energy efficiency programs at customer meetings, applicable trade shows, energy forums, and events. Promoting energy conservation and representing the Company brand successfully.

Required Qualifications:

* Related University degree in engineering (preferably (preferred in mechanical, chemical or electrical Engineering).
* Minimum four or more years of project engineering or project management and sales experience in commercial sector environments.
* For candidates who do not possess a university degree, an additional 3-years of related experience is required.
* Experience with energy management, demand side management, and sustainability principles.
* Exceptional understanding of commercial HVAC systems and design.
* Strong technical and analytical aptitude.
* Self-motivated, self-starter, and able to operate independently but work with a team of like-minded professionals.
* Customer and results focused.
* Proven skills in leading and influencing without explicit authority.
* Proven time management skills and ability to coordinate multiple projects while managing personal time.
* Superior written and verbal communication ability and excellent interpersonal skills.
* Confident presenter and public speaker.
* Strong relationship-building, problem-solving skills, and negotiation skills.
* Valid driver’s license with a responsible driving record.
* Some knowledge of building sciences and new construction in relation to the Ontario Building Code

Preferred Qualifications:

* Membership in Professional Engineers of Ontario (PEO)
* Energy Management certification (such as Certified Energy Manager or Energy Manager in Training)
* Certified Measurement and Verification Professional (CMVP)
* Operational knowledge or Design experience in HVAC, Boilers, and BAS control systems, building construction.
