Pay Rate: Starts at $28.00/hour final hourly rate will depend on experience.
Work Type: Onsite – Odessa, TX 79764 (Local Only)
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Duration: 6-month contract with possibility of extension and/or conversion based on performance and other factors.
Additional Information: Standard Driver’s License and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) are required
Job Overview:
* The Assembler is responsible for assembling and testing products, and for troubleshooting and resolving issues.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assemble components of all Product Lines. Select correct tools and fixtures.
* Test assembled products.
* Troubleshoot and resolve problems associated with the assembly and testing of products.
* Ensure ability to:
* Read blueprints
* Identify components
* Use pertinent hand tools and rework techniques
* Operate equipment, dimensioning and setting tolerances of mechanical parts and assemblies.
* Create labor records for all transactions.
* Use the guiding principles and tools of the Manufacturing System to drive continuous improvement.
Top 3 Required Skills:
* BOP knowledge
* Valves and Chokes knowledge
* SAP
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s or technical degree.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience required.
* Certifications: Forklift, crane, H2s, HSE preferred
* Tools/Systems: Hytork, Test Pump, Impact Wrench
* Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
