Software Engineer 2 (Test Engineer)
- Location: Markham, ON—Hybrid (Required to come to the office 3 times a week, Tuesday is a mandatory day, and the other two days are optional)
- Pay Rate: $56/hr – $67/hr
- Contract Length: 12 Months

Responsibilities:
- Execute black box test cases to validate basic functions of ADAS controllers
- Automated test cases use engineering test methodologies.
- Maintain & improve documentation during and after testing
- Troubleshoot & investigate automated test and controller issues
- Ability to anticipate problems & issues and recommend solutions to problems
- Prepare test results and reports with the highest industry standard
- Ability to modify calibration and/or test script to meet the validation requirement
- Ability to use and develop test script and automation
- Ability to use AI tools in testing activities
Qualifications:
- Experience with tools like Python and test automation methodologies
- Experience with CAN/Ethernet communication protocols and test tools
- Experience with Calibration and/or Validation Development
- Experience in INCA/CANoe/ Vetor CANalyzer / Vspy
- Experience in a fast-moving environment and capable of meeting stringent deadlines
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to perform test automation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Aptitude for learning, professional development and enjoys being a team player
Education:
- Associate’s degree in engineering or computer engineering. Also, taking people who have computer science
- Prefer 5 years of embedded or controlled software testing using their own tools
