We’re Hiring! Our key client is growing like crazy and adding an Assembler to their team.
Pay Rate: $18.00 – $19.00/hour, depending on experience.
Work Location: Onsite – Patterson, LA 70392
Work Schedule: 6:00 am – 4:00 pm| Rotating weekends | May include overtime
Duration: 6-month contract with possible extension/conversion based on performance and other factors.
Additional Details: Standard Driver’s License and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) are required.
Responsibilities:
* Responsible for assembling and testing products, and for troubleshooting and resolving issues.
* Assemble components of all Product Lines.
* Select correct tools and fixtures.
* Test assembled products.
* Troubleshoot and resolve problems associated with the assembly and testing of products.
* Ensure ability to: read blueprints; identify components; use pertinent hand tools and rework techniques; operate equipment, dimensioning and setting tolerances of mechanical parts and assemblies.
* Create labor records for all transactions.
* Use the guiding principles and tools of the Manufacturing System to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
* High School Diploma or GED is required.
* Minimum 2 years of experience is required.
* Attention to detail, quality workmanship, consistency is required.
* Experience in drilling equipment industry is preferred.
* Forklift or overhead crane experience is preferred.
* Ability to lift 50 lbs unassisted
