Associate Mechanical Assembler

We’re Hiring! Our key client is growing like crazy and adding an Associate Mechanical Assembler to their team.

Pay Rate: Up to $21.82/hour, depending on experience.
Work Location: Onsite – Alvarado, TX 76009

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday | 6:00 am – 4:30 pm

Duration: 3-month contract with possible extension/conversion based on performance and other factors.

Responsibilities:

* The Associate Mechanical Assembler working under general supervision, you will perform a variety of assembly operations associated with the manufacturing of explosive products, small mechanical or electro-mechanical parts, or equipment housing.
* This role also involves working on large equipment such as engines, engine and PTO drive trains, gas compressors, control equipment, covers/cowlings, and related connecting lines.
* Perform fitting, mounting, alignment, and adjusting during the assembly process.
* Conduct operational testing of assembled components and equipment.
* Execute a variety of assembly operations for explosive products and mechanical parts.
* Assemble large-scale equipment, including drive trains, compressors, and control systems.

Qualifications:

* High School Diploma or GED required.
* 1-2 years of related assembly experience (skills typically acquired through this duration).
* Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work well with your hands.
* Ability to stand for most of the shift.
* Ability to lift 35 lbs.
* Proven ability to work effectively in teams.
* Ability to follow instructions accurately.
* Strong reading and writing skills.
