Data Analyst I
- Pay Rate: $30.00/hour on W2
- Contract Length: 12 months with possible extension and/or conversion
- Location: Salem, VA 24153 (Onsite)
- Work Schedule: 1st Shift | Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Raise is currently hiring a contract team member on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader.
Responsibilities
- Update database and share site with data for all new, recertified, or amended profiles.
- Update share site with current approvals and Notification of Treatment Standards forms.
- Conduct technical regulatory review of all new, amended, and recertified waste profile data (DOT, RCRA, Land Ban, and miscellaneous notes). Review for internal profile inconsistencies.
- Efficiently track and run reports, potentially requiring advanced knowledge of Excel.
- Validate shipment data for waste tracking.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) required.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Excel or similar database software.
- Proficient with word processors (e.g., Microsoft Word).
- Excellent typing and transcription skills, including fast typing speed.
- Ability to research and collect data.
- High accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Effective time management and organization.
- Ability to multitask.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Other Requirements
- RCRA and DOT regulatory compliance or quality/government regulation experience preferred.
- Experience with manifesting and profiling hazardous and non-hazardous waste preferred.
- Pre-assignment or pre-hire customer-specific drug and/or alcohol testing may be required, including urinalysis, oral swab, hair follicle, and/or alcohol testing.
