Data Analyst I

  • Pay Rate: $30.00/hour on W2
  • Contract Length: 12 months with possible extension and/or conversion
  • Location: Salem, VA 24153 (Onsite)
  • Work Schedule: 1st Shift | Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM 

Raise is currently hiring a contract team member on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader.

Responsibilities

  • Update database and share site with data for all new, recertified, or amended profiles.
  • Update share site with current approvals and Notification of Treatment Standards forms.
  • Conduct technical regulatory review of all new, amended, and recertified waste profile data (DOT, RCRA, Land Ban, and miscellaneous notes). Review for internal profile inconsistencies.
  • Efficiently track and run reports, potentially requiring advanced knowledge of Excel.
  • Validate shipment data for waste tracking.

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) required.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Excel or similar database software.
  • Proficient with word processors (e.g., Microsoft Word).
  • Excellent typing and transcription skills, including fast typing speed.
  • Ability to research and collect data.
  • High accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Effective time management and organization.
  • Ability to multitask.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Other Requirements

  • RCRA and DOT regulatory compliance or quality/government regulation experience preferred.
  • Experience with manifesting and profiling hazardous and non-hazardous waste preferred.
  • Pre-assignment or pre-hire customer-specific drug and/or alcohol testing may be required, including urinalysis, oral swab, hair follicle, and/or alcohol testing.
