IT Project Manager – Senior
- Location: Toronto, ON – Hybrid – (Tues, Weds, Thurs in office)
- Pay Rate: $72.39/hr – $85.44/hr
- Contract Length: 12 Months with a possibility of extension

Responsibilities:
- End-to-End Project Delivery: Lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of multiple projects across Capital Markets, FX, and Payments domains.
- Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with senior business leaders, vendors, and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful outcomes.
- Financial Oversight: Manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting, ensuring cost control and ROI realization.
- Risk & Issue Management: Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and issues; develop mitigation plans and drive resolution.
- Process Excellence: Implement and refine project management best practices to ensure consistency, efficiency, and quality delivery.
- Regulatory & Compliance Awareness: Ensure project alignment with industry regulations and internal compliance standards.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and guide junior project managers, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance.
Must-haves:
- Minimum 10 years of previous experience as an IT PM—preferred banking background
- MS Project/Microsoft Powerpoint
- Jira/Confluence
- Previous Stakeholder management experience
- Experience with Release planning
- Solid financial acumen with experience in managing project budgets exceeding $5M.
- Experience with Azure (completed 2-3 migration projects)—3+ years
Nice to have:
- Capital Markets products, FX trading processes and Payments
- PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification preferred.
