Senior Product Manager
- Pay Rate: $86.00/hour, depending on experience
- Contract Length: 11 Months, with the possibility of an extension

Note: The primary pay rate is based on T4 classification; however, we will also consider applications from candidates interested in an INC classification, where applicable.
Description
As the Sr Product Manager, you will be responsible for the delivery of key payment projects to the organization. Working closely with stakeholders, technology and operations teams, and our vendors to plan, execute and deliver across several payment products including electronic funds transfers (EFTs), bill payments, cheques and wire transfers. Working with our enterprise experts and our regulator, Payment Canada you will support the preparation for the next major payments modernization program as well as industry related projects.

Project Description:
- Future State of Retail Batch: A program run by Payments Canada that will impact the fundamental operation of core banking payment products at .
- Bill Payment Framework: A regulatory mandate requiring changes to the bill pay and corporate creditor products as well as tax payments in branch.
- Industry Bank Changes: working with industry partners to understand and plan for the impacts of the CWB acquisition by National Bank, and the changes being brought forward by Laurentian Bank.
- Sustainment initiatives: Smaller projects that are related to other payment products as they are prioritized for completion.
Required
- 8–10 years of progressive experience in project or program management, specifically within the Financial Services or Fintech sectors.
- A proven track record of managing payment-related projects (EFTs, Wires, or Bill Pay) is essential.
- Ability to act as a "compelling storyteller," translating complex technical hurdles and regulatory requirements into clear, high-level insights for executive stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience managing the full lifecycle of complex products—from initial business requirements gathering to final delivery—within intricate industry landscapes.
- Advanced mastery of Agile methodologies with the flexibility to navigate hybrid project environments where traditional and iterative approaches coexist.
- Strong ability to make data-informed decisions centered on business objectives. You must be able to "dive deep" into business units to define solutions for complex operational impacts.
- Education and Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Certification: Active PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is required. CSM (Certified Scrum Master) or equivalent Agile certification is highly preferred.
