Systems Testing/QA Specialist – Intermediate
Pay Rate: Flexible

Contract Length: 12 Months, Onsite

Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with the client app teams to gather technical requirements for Application Load tests.
- Create load testing scripts based on technical requirements to exercise selected transactions in the application.
- Execute virtual user load tests in clients' selected environments.
- Provide detailed test results reports.
- Provide technical right-sizing and tuning recommendations to the clients.
- Evaluate against pre-defined business performance criteria.
- Troubleshoot performance problems and compare various system configurations.
- Knowledge and experience sharing with the in-house testing team.

Experience and Skill Set Requirements
Evaluation Breakdown:
1. Experience in designing, implementing and reporting Performance Testing – 20%
Parameters:
- Coordinate with the client app teams to gather technical requirements for Application Load tests.
- Create load testing scripts based on technical requirements to exercise selected transactions in the application.
- Execute virtual user load tests in clients' selected environments.
- Provide detailed test results reports.
- Provide technical right-sizing and tuning recommendations to the clients.
- Evaluate against pre-defined business performance criteria.
- Troubleshoot performance problems and compare various system configurations.
- Knowledge and experience sharing with the in-house testing team.
2. Knowledge of application flows and processes – 10%
Parameters:
- Applications deployed in Cloud or n-Teir (Web/App/DB), experience and advanced understanding of application designs in a multitiered/Cloud Datacenter infrastructure.
3. Experience in gathering functional and non-functional test requirements – 10%
Parameters:
- Gathering non-functional application performance test requirements.
- Working as a performance test liaison between the client and the performance testing team.
4. Application load testing – 15%
Parameters:
- Demonstrated experience and contribution in a load test exercise, knowledge of the types of activities needed, including peer reviewing test scripts created by others, during test developments and executions.
- Executing application load tests for 5-9 years in large and complex organizations.
5. Scripting Skills – 15%
Parameters:
- Demonstrated experience and understanding of scripting languages and skills, correlation, parameters, data extractions from transactions, focused on VuGen Scripting skills in large and complex organizations.
Deliverables:
- Development of application performance test plans, test scripts and test cases, test results reporting and executing these against the various components.
- The testers will work with the client application and QA teams as well as the project team members in the analysis, design, development, implementation of testing.
- Will be available to execute testing scripts with the clients and support teams.
- Execution can be scheduled after regular business hours.
Must Have:
