Human Resources Generalist

  • Pay Rate: $34.00/hour, depending on experience
  • Contract Length: 1 Year
  • Location: Calgary, Alberta

 

Raise is currently hiring a Human Resources Generalist on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader. Our Client, is a Liquids Pipelines Company operating with more than 4,000 kilometers of crude oil pipelines in North America providing low-risk, liquids transportation and storage business, safely moving oil between some of the world’s most critical markets

 

Note: The primary pay rate is based on T4 classification; however, we will also consider applications from candidates interested in an INC classification, where applicable.

 

Description

The HR Generalist plays a key role in delivering administrative, coordination, and systems support across the HR function, while also contributing to the successful implementation of the Workday Talent Management module. This role is ideal for an early-career professional who thrives on organization, precision, and continuous learning. Responsibilities            

  • HR administration support:
  • Manage the HR inbox and respond to Tier 1 HR inquiries and route complex questions to the appropriate team members
  • Support recruitment coordination, background checks, and onboarding process
  • Maintain employee records and HR SharePoint content with accuracy and confidentiality
  • Process Workday and D365 transactions and assist with routine HR reporting
  • Coordinate HR invoices, purchase orders, and vendor interactions in partnership with Finance/AP
  • Work collaboratively with HR team members to support smooth workflows and contribute to ongoing process improvements
  •  Talent Module/Performance Management project support:
  • Support test planning and quality assurance activities for the Workday Talent Management module
  • Log, track, and validate defects in collaboration with the HR and Workday project teams
  • Document processes and contribute to the creation of user guides, work instructions, FAQs, and quick reference materials
  • Partner with HR and Workday project team to ensure accurate defect tracking, resolution, and retesting

Qualifications

  • Two or more years of experience in HR coordinator, HR operations, HRIS or administration, Workday experience
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (including SharePoint) is an asset
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality
  • Strong communication skills and service orientation
  • Ability to learn quickly and collaborate across teams
  • Comfort working with structured information and process driven tasks
  • Education and Certifications
  • Post secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, HRIS or a related discipline
