Pay Rate: $20.00/hour, depending on experience +3 shift differential
Work Type: Onsite – Odessa, TX 79763
Work Schedule: 3:00 pm – 3:00 am | 11 nights on, 3 nights off | Rotation
Duration: 6-month contract with possibility of extension and/or conversion based on performance and other factors.
Additional Information: Standard Driver’s License and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) are required
Responsibilities:
* Perform moderately complex and intricate inspection processes
* Follow effective guidance for nightly inspection goals
* Verify equipment meets quality specifications. Identifying defects in parts, approving or rejecting items
* Complete inspection reports, related paperwork, and ensure all information is recorded accurately
* Responsible for maintaining the quality standards set forth by the company
* Identifying ongoing quality issues and prevent potential production issues and make suggestions for improvement
* Follow all safety policies and company-wide safety requirements; encourage action assuring safe behavior; confront unsafe behavior and conditions proactively and positively
* Regularly and predictably attend work and be punctual
* Work nights, 3:00 p.m. – 3:00 a.m. or work is completed, on a rotating basis
Qualifications:
* High School Diploma or equivalent
* 1 year of experience in ESP experience
* Experience in a manufacturing and/or quality environment preferred
* Accuracy and Attention to detail
* Customer-first mindset
* Action-oriented for delivering results
* Able to complete required testing documentation
* Able to troubleshoot issues with equipment
* Be proficient with all Microsoft Office applications
* Ability to work under general supervision and or little to no supervision
* Effectively present information and respond to questions
* Successful planning, priority setting, informing, results, and time management skills.
* Ability to interact politely and professionally with customers and/or coworkers
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to communicate (read, write, and speak) in English

* Indoor and outdoor environmental conditions. Activities occur indoors and outdoors.
* Extreme heat – Temperatures above 100 degrees for periods of more than one hour. Consideration should be given to the effect of other environmental conditions, such as wind and humidity.
* Hazards – Includes a variety of physical conditions, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current or exposure to chemicals.
* Atmospheric conditions – One or more of the following conditions that affect the respiratory system or the skin – fumes, odors, dust, mists, gases, or poor ventilation.
* Oils – There is air and/or skin exposure to oils and other cutting fluids.
