Raise is currently hiring a Work Program Management – Materials & Contracts on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader. Our Client, is one of the largest electrical energy suppliers in Canada

Note: The primary pay rate is based on T4 classification; however, we will also consider applications from candidates interested in an INC classification, where applicable.

Description

The Work Management Coordinator will play a vital role with our client in supporting  T-Lines programs by bridging the gap between planning and execution. This position focuses on the coordination of material and contract-related activities, ensuring that field operations have the resources and documentation required to succeed.

Operating under the direction of Program Management leadership, you will act as a central point of contact for tracking status, maintaining visibility across stakeholders, and ensuring data integrity within our core systems.

Responsibilities

  • Work Management & Coordination
    • Provide daily coordination support for material and contract workstreams.
    • Act as a liaison between Program Management, Field Operations, Contracts, and Supply Chain to ensure information flow is seamless.
    • Monitor work progress to ensure tasks are planned, supported, and executed efficiently.
  • Materials & Contracts Support
    • Support material readiness by tracking delivery statuses and coordinating necessary follow-ups.
    • Assist with contract administration activities by maintaining meticulous documentation.
    • Note: This role focuses on coordination and support; it does not include procurement authority or contract award responsibilities.
  • Process & Documentation Support
    • Maintain and update SharePoint sites, MS Lists, and internal trackers.
    • Contribute to the development of repeatable workflows to improve how work information is captured.
    • Ensure all project logs are accurate, up-to-date, and accessible to the broader team.
  • Field-Adjacent & On-Site Support
    • Perform periodic on-site visits to material yards or project locations.
    • Assist with basic field verification, site observations, and documentation.
    • Adhere strictly to the clients safety requirements and protocols while on-site.

Qualifications

  • 5 years of project management experience or equivalent.
  • SAP experience is a must have, including viewing material data and extracting information for trackers (no transactional authority required)
  • Advanced Tracking & SharePoint Management, experience with SharePoint, MS Lists, or similar tracking tools.
  • Materials & Contract Lifecycle Coordination – experience with tracking "material readiness"—essentially making sure the right parts are there before the crew arrives.
  • Stakeholder Communication (Field vs. Corporate) – ability to translate technical updates into status reports and your comfort level performing "on-site verification" at material yards or construction sites.
  • Nice to haves:
  • Understanding of project management principles (e.g., task tracking, schedules, dependencies, risk awareness)
  • Exposure to Transmission, Distribution, or material support environment
  • Education and Certifications
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • PMP designation is a major asset for this role

Additional Information

  • Every contractor must supply their own Windows 11 Laptop computer for the duration of the assignment.
  • Every contractor must supply their own “Smart Phone”. This is needed to gain access to the Organizations network.
