Test Lead – Senior
Pay Rate: Flexible
Location: Toronto, Ontario
Contract Length: 10 Months, Onsite

Responsibilities:
- Develop test plans, test cases, and test scripts for .NET Core application components
- Validate migrated features against behaviour observed in the existing Classic ASP/VBScript application
- Analyze legacy screens, workflows, and code logic to determine expected outcomes
- Execute functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing
- Document defects clearly and work closely with developers to resolve issues
- Support DevOps-driven testing and release cycles
- Provide weekly reporting on status, progress, and key issues/concerns
Required Skills:
- 5+ years of experience in software QA/testing
- Strong experience testing web applications (preferably .NET Core)
- Ability to interpret and understand Classic ASP/VBScript logic to determine expected system behaviour
- Experience testing undocumented or partially documented legacy systems
- Experience with test management tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, JIRA, HP ALM)
- Understanding of front-end technologies
- Experience working with DevOps pipelines and CI/CD workflows
- Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills
- Expertise in writing and executing test cases, scenarios, and scripts for web applications, covering functional, regression, integration and UAT testing
