We’re Hiring! Our key client is growing adding a Cable Technician I to their team.
Pay Rate: $22.00/hr on W2, depending on experience.
Work Location: Onsite – Andrews, TX 79714
Work Schedule: 12 days on and 2 days off | 7:30 am – 6:30 pm |Off every other weekend.
Duration: 6-month contract with possibility of extension and/or conversion based on performance and other factors.
Responsibilities:
· Performs basic operations to test and repair downhole cable for submersible pumps and motor equipment.
· Receives cable and carries out basic tests.
· Perform basic repairs and learn how to splice cable.
· Complete paperwork to send cable to inventory or the field.
· Learn all relevant company HSE policies and procedures.
· Demonstrate the application of HSE policies and procedures into daily duties.
Qualifications:
· High School Diploma or GED required.
· Proficient in the safe and effective use of various hand and power tools.
· Capable of working extended hours on foot across diverse weather conditions.
· Quickly adjusts to abrupt changes in workflow and production demands.
· Maintains high accuracy and precision in all assigned tasks.
· Demonstrates strong verbal skills for clear team coordination.
· Follows complex written and verbal instructions with high reliability.
· Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations involving addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
· Basic reading comprehension and writing skills are required.
· Basic computer skills are preferred.
