We’re Hiring! Our key client is growing and adding a Materials Handler to their team.
Pay Rate: $22.00/hour on W2, depending on experience
Work Type: Onsite – Whitter, CA 90601
Work Schedule: 7:30 am – 4:00 pm
Duration: 9-month contract with possibility of extension and/or conversion based on performance and other factors.
Additional Details: Standard Driver’s License and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) are required
Responsibilities:
* Responsible for moving materials from machines at workstation as part of production process.
* Issue and transfer parts for production.
* Safely operate a forklift to load, unload and transport materials.
* Assist Production Planner and assembly stores whenever required.
* Use the guiding principles and tools of the Manufacturing System to drive continuous improvement, wherever applicable.
Qualifications:
* High school diploma or GED.
* 1-2 years of relevant experience.
* Ability to operate a forklift.
* Ability to read and interpret work orders, inventory records, and related documentation.
* Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds and perform tasks involving physical exertion.
