RESPONSIBILITIES

Qualifications and Experience:

1. University degree in computer science or a related discipline or the equivalent combination of education and experience.

2. Considerable experience with SQL and Oracle PL/SQL coding techniques for development and troubleshooting, database management of Oracle or Microsoft SQL databases, Microsoft IIS, and Oracle APEX

3. Extensive experience in the design of user interface specifications, by applying client research, design standards, and industry best practices, considering strategic business objectives, user needs, and systems constraints.

4. Performing detailed analysis of business processes and data to identify problems and potential solutions. This experience must include the ability to gather and clearly document “as is” and “to be” processes and perform necessary gap analysis etc.

5. Extensive experience working with user-centered design (UCD) techniques & demonstrated ability to incorporate those UCD principles into architecture and user interfaces.

6. Extensive experience in gathering and translating user requirements from diverse stakeholders, including subject matter experts (SMEs), users, and business analysts. Skilled in transforming these ideas into prototype design mock-ups, with a strong foundation in design thinking.

Technical Capabilities:

• Strong communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to a variety of audiences.

• Well-developed inter-personal skills and ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary staff in a project team setting, as well as with peers.

• Excellent negotiating skills for the effective resolution of conflicting business priorities with corporate business clients.

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

Considerable experience as project lead and/or technical lead in utilizing project management skills and industry standard tools for user requirements collection, planning, coordinating, testing and implementing complex IT related projects

• Significant experience with software analysis and design techniques and system implementation methodologies.

• Ability to develop, maintain and execute test plans.

• Skills to assess and determine underlying business needs, and create optimal solutions with consideration to business and technical architecture.>>

Deliverables

Deliverables:

• Develops oracle Apex applications

• Write documentation instructions and training

• Mentors and/or provides technical and systems development coaching to divisional staff.

• Regular work status reporting

• Other deliverables as directed by management
