Accountant – Expert (Senior Manager, BlackLine Capability Hub)
- Location: Toronto, ON – Hybrid (2 days per week in office – Monday and Tuesday)
- Pay Rate: $60.32/hr – $71.21/hr
- Contract Length: 6 Months with the possibility of extension

Responsibilities:
- Execute on the Global Balance Sheet control strategy to ensure the completeness and accuracy of the bank's balance sheet.
- Oversee the administration, configuration, and maintenance of the BlackLine platform.
- Evaluate and execute onboarding of reconciliation processes onto the BlackLine platform.
- Develop and deliver training programs for BlackLine system users and local administrators.
- Identify, recommend, and implement process improvements and automation through BlackLine workflows.
- Communicate effectively with leaders and other stakeholders regarding system enhancements, risks, and opportunities.
- Drive adoption of new features and best practices to maximize BlackLine platform value.
- Serve as the primary liaison between finance, Technology, and Business units for BlackLine-related initiatives.
- Oversee the development and delivery of BlackLine tools and analytical analysis for management and operational decision-making. Lead change management initiatives for BlackLine system upgrades, new module rollouts, and process changes.
Must Have Requirement:
- 3 years of experience with BlackLine.
- 5+ years’ experience in financial systems administration, accounting, or finance operations.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Nice to Have:
- CPA designation would be an asset.
- Experience with SAP.
