Job Overview
Seeking an experienced AI Developer to support the development of an Agentic AI–enabled Facilities Maintenance Assistant. This role will work closely with the Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) team to design, build, and test an AI-driven solution that assists with maintenance planning, operational insights, and decision-making using data from enterprise maintenance systems.
The successful candidate will help design the architecture for an Agentic AI solution, structure facilities and maintenance data for AI use, and develop an intelligent assistant capable of generating maintenance recommendations. The role also includes integrating the AI application with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) through APIs and supporting testing, refinement, and documentation of the solution.
This role requires strong experience with AI development, particularly Generative AI, Agentic AI frameworks, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures, as well as experience working with enterprise systems and data integration.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement an Agentic AI architecture to support facilities maintenance operations
- Prepare, clean, and structure facilities and maintenance data to support AI model functionality
- Develop an AI-powered assistant capable of generating maintenance planning insights and operational recommendations
- Integrate the AI solution with enterprise maintenance systems through APIs
- Collaborate with internal technical teams to align AI development with operational and system requirements
- Support testing, refinement, and performance improvement of the AI assistant
- Develop documentation outlining system architecture, data structures, and operational workflows
- Provide technical expertise related to AI development, system integration, and data handling
Key Deliverables:
- Agentic AI architecture design for the maintenance assistant
- Structured and prepared facilities maintenance datasets for AI integration
- Functional AI assistant capable of generating maintenance planning recommendations
- Integration between the AI solution and CMMS via API connections
- Testing documentation, system refinements, and technical documentation for the solution
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field preferred
- Proven experience designing and developing AI and Generative AI solutions at scale
- Deep expertise with Agentic AI frameworks and implementing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures
- Strong knowledge of data analysis techniques and methodologies
- Experience integrating applications with enterprise systems through APIs
- Strong understanding of data structuring, AI workflows, and system integration practices
- Experience collaborating with technical and operational teams to develop practical AI solutions
Nice to have Qualifications:
- Experience working with CMMS or Facilities Management systems
- Experience working with enterprise asset management data
- Experience supporting AI applications in operational or industrial environments
