Raise is currently hiring a contract team member on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader.

Overview

  • This role is a member of the Strategy & Engagement team, supporting Projects processes that deliver our key services and build alignment within the Projects organization.
  • This role is fundamental in fulfilling initiatives of the Strategy, Planning & Performance team that support Projects’ priorities and will assist in rollout of programs that are Projects-wide and beyond.
  • This person plays a key role developing Projects communications, plans, presentations and materials in support of Projects org strategy and engagement, capabilities and resourcing, and other priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Work with senior leaders to develop communications, presentations and materials in support of Projects org strategic and engagement, capabilities and resourcing, and other priorities.
  • Support Projects’ annual communication planning process, as well as engagement activities that align Projects’ team performance to our priorities.
  • Develop communications for the Projects org and other materials as required.
  • Ensure the content is aligned to client's messaging by working closely with Public Affairs, Communication and Sustainability (PACS).
  • Ensure focus of content aligns to Projects org strategic focus.
  • Provide strategic communications guidance and support for:
  • People leader communications
  • Projects org capabilities & resourcing
  • Projects workshops and events
  • Lead content, coordination and communication of Projects video series featuring project work and team members.
  • Ensure effective use of communication channels (intranet, Viva engage, SP sites, email) and ensure quick and efficient turnaround of materials to meet deadlines.
  • Track, manage and develop reports on Projects’ team communication and engagement metrics.
  • Be responsive to ad hoc requests from multiple sources and prioritize tasks.
  • Ensure all communication is accurate (no errors), aligned to strategy and on brand.

Required Qualifications

  • University degree or diploma, preferably in Communications, Journalism or related field.
  • Impeccable communication skills with a focus on writing and presentation development as evidenced in prior roles.
  • Organized individual with the ability to prioritize work to meet tight deadlines and juggle competing priorities.
  • Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills with an attention to detail and ability to think conceptually.
  • Team player with an ability to relate to and work cooperatively with multiple levels in the organization.
  • High level of curiosity and a willingness to learn.
  • A minimum of 5 or more years of related experience in corporate communications or another related field.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the standard MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Strong PPT skills are required.

  • Experience with Projects org and how it functions.
