Job Overview:
The Emissions Sales Lead is responsible for driving revenue growth, managing a robust pipeline, and building long-term partnerships through a consultative sales approach. This role requires a strategic professional to manage assigned markets, execute sales strategies, and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure seamless delivery of customer commitments while promoting a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
* Revenue Growth & Pipeline Management
* Develop, manage, and grow a robust sales pipeline within assigned markets and accounts.
* Identify new business opportunities and lead prospecting efforts.
* Support forecasting, reporting, and performance metrics to inform business decisions.
* Client Relationship Management
* Serve as a primary contact for customers, ensuring a high level of satisfaction and proactive communication.
* Conduct regular client meetings to understand business needs and present tailored solutions.
* Build long-term partnerships by delivering a consultative sales approach.
* Sales Strategy & Execution
* Partner with leadership to execute sales strategies aligned with company objectives.
* Analyze market trends, competition, and customer insights to guide commercial decisions.
* Support pricing strategies and proposal development.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration
* Work closely with Operations, Product, Marketing, and Finance teams to ensure seamless delivery of customer commitments.
* Provide customer feedback that informs product development and service enhancements.
* Leadership & Coaching
* Mentor junior sales team members and support the onboarding of new hires.
* Promote a culture of accountability, performance, and continuous improvement.
* Maintain confidentiality in all matters.
* Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering, Atmospheric Sciences, Business, or a related field.
* Minimum of five years’ experience in the Oil & Gas segment with strategic connections with operators in the Permian area.
* 5+ years of experience in sales, business development, or account management; industry experience may be required depending on the role.
* 5 years of experience in a similar sales position.
* Experience and knowledge of ESG, emissions, and/or atmospheric sciences.
* Specific experience within the oil & gas industry.
* A history of working in a field that requires autonomy and self-motivation.
* Prior experience demonstrating a strong work ethic and the ability to multitask.
* Prior experience that required excellent organizational skills.
* Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
* Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
* Ability to build trusted relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
* Proficiency with CRM systems, sales analytics tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
* Ability to work without direct supervision.
* Collaborative attitude and a strong work ethic with the ability to enthusiastically represent the company.
* 60-80% availability for inter-regional travel.
