Job Overview
These roles combine strong project and program fundamentals with exceptional stakeholder leadership, governance, and change leadership to ensure modernization delivers measurable outcomes.
Director, Business Modernization — Finance
- Leads planning and execution of modernization program for Finance processes, data, and enabling technology including reporting, performance management, and decision support.
- Build the program management framework and integrated controls for the Finance stream, including governance, decision rights, reporting cadence, and risk management
- Adopt standardized processes and templates for Finance modernization, and drive measures that enable consistency across the Business Modernization portfolio.
- Partner closely with Finance leadership, Digital/Technology, Supply Chain, Projects, HR, Engineering and Operations to define changes to processes, systems, and culture, identify and manage dependencies and cross-functional impacts.
- Manage interface with key vendor partners, including system integrators.
Director, Business Modernization — Supply Chain
- Leads planning and execution of modernization program for Supply Chain processes, data, and enabling technology including reporting, performance management, and decision support.
- Build the program management framework and integrated controls for the Supply Chain stream, including governance, decision rights, reporting cadence, and risk management
- Adopt standardized processes and templates for Supply Chain modernization, and drive measures that enable consistency across the Business Modernization portfolio.
- Partner closely with Supply Chain leadership, Digital/Technology, Finance, Projects, HR, Engineering and Operations to define changes to processes, systems, and culture, identify and manage dependencies and cross-functional impacts.

Director, Business Modernization — Operations & Engineering
- Leads planning and execution of modernization program for Operations & Engineering processes, data, and enabling technology including reporting, performance management, and decision support.
- Build the program management framework and integrated controls for the Operations & Engineering stream, including governance, decision rights, reporting cadence, and risk management
- Adopt standardized processes and templates for Operations & Engineering modernization, and drive measures that enable consistency across the Business Modernization portfolio.
- Partner closely with Operations & Engineering leadership, Digital/Technology, Finance, Projects, Supply Chain, and HR to define changes to processes, systems, and culture, identify and manage dependencies and cross-functional impacts.
- Manage interface with key vendor partners, including system integrators.
Key accountabilities (common to all three):
- Operate as a connector across business units and modernization workstreams and partner with peers to resolve cross-stream dependencies and drive integrated decisions.
- Establish and uphold governance structures, best practices, and standardized reporting across business enablement streams.
- Engage stakeholders at multiple levels (field/plant operations, functional leaders, executives), ensuring alignment, buy-in, and effective decision-making.
- Prepare clear, decision-ready materials, ensure governance forums are effective and outcomes are actioned.
- Define measurable outcomes, metrics, and realization plans, track progress and course-correct to ensure value delivery.
- Partner with HR and business leaders to deliver role impacts, training, communications, and adoption plans that stick.
- Coordinate and optimize collaboration among internal teams, system integrators, technology providers, and consultants to ensure seamless program delivery.
- Prepare and coordinate executive-level reporting and materials for the executive steering committee, ensuring meetings are effective and decisions are well-informed.
- Develop and uphold effective governance structures to monitor program progress, resolve issues, and ensure compliance with organizational policies, working closely with the Enterprise and IT Project Management Offices.
- Establish and maintain best practice standards and templates across finance, supply chain, operations and engineering enablement to drive consistency in governance, reporting, toolsets, and decision-making.
- Plan and optimize resources across streams, maintain cost and schedule discipline.
- Maintain strong RAID practices and decision logs, establish/maintain RACI clarity across teams and vendors.
- Coordinate collaboration among internal teams, system integrators, technology providers, and consultants to enable seamless delivery.
- Ensure initiatives meet financial requirements, support the business plan, and deliver within approved budgets.
- Support procurement planning and vendor onboarding, contribute to contract ownership/oversight for required resources.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a closely related field (or equivalent experience).
10+ years leading complex modernization, transformation, or enterprise initiatives in large, matrixed organizations (focus-area experience aligned to the role is preferred).

- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive adoption through change
- Strong communication skills and ability to simplify complexity and drive decisions
