Senior Technical Business Analyst
- Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota – Hybrid – (4 days onsite, 1 day remote)
- Pay Rate: $84.01/hr
- Contract Length: 6 Months

Responsibilities:
- Capture technical requirements—Conduct in-depth analysis of data mapping and data translation rules; document detailed functional and technical specifications
- Data mapping documentation—Develop comprehensive data mapping matrices and translation rule definitions; ensure accuracy and completeness for all loan balance migration scenarios
- Stakeholder collaboration—Partner with business stakeholders, data architects, and development teams to understand requirements and validate technical solutions
- Requirements validation—Review proposed data mappings against business rules; identify gaps, inconsistencies, and edge cases; recommend solutions
- Documentation and communication—Create clear, detailed requirements documentation; effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Quality assurance—Verify that captured requirements are complete, unambiguous, and properly translated into technical specifications
Must-have Skills:
- 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst (BA) or Business Systems Analyst (BSA) with a strong focus on data migration (most important)
- Demonstrated experience capturing and documenting detailed data mapping
- Proficiency in JIRA, with experience in data mapping and data conversion, is required
- Excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills, including the ability to present and communicate effectively with senior leadership—most important
Nice-to-have Skills:
- Experience working on ETL implementations or financial systems projects (Nice to have)
- SQL or technical database knowledge
- Background in financial services or loan processing systems
- Experience with transformation rules
- Strong proficiency with data analysis tools and requirements documentation methodologies
- Ability to analyze complex data structures and translate them into clear specifications.
