Senior DevOps Engineer
- Location: Toronto, ON—Hybrid (4 days onsite)
- Pay Rate: $92.41/hr – $109.06/hr
- Contract Length: 12 Months with the possibility of extension

Responsibilities:
DevOps Engineer to provide critical support and enhancement for our Global Asset Management (GAM) technology platforms. This role focuses on DevOps automation, platform reliability, and emerging AI capabilities to ensure continuous delivery, platform security, and operational excellence.
Must-have Skills:
- 5+ years of DevOps engineering experience with CI/CD, automation, and infrastructure management
- Strong hands-on coding skills with solid understanding of programming syntax; ability to review AI-generated code
- Must commit to 4 days/week onsite (Downtown Toronto) and attend in-person interviews
- Solid understanding of DevOps principles, practices, and culture
- Strong experience with CI/CD tools: GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar
- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation
- Proficiency in Python and Node.js are required with experience in AI capabilities using Python.
- Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration
- Knowledge of cloud platforms: OpenShift, Azure, AWS, or similar
- Experience with system architecture and troubleshooting complex technical issues
- Understanding of security best practices and compliance frameworks
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Nice-to-have Skills:
- Experience with AI/ML platforms and frameworks
- Knowledge of Agentic AI concepts and implementations
- Experience with Airflow, Dask, Spark
- Background in financial services or regulated industries
- Experience with secret management tools (Vault, AWS Secrets Manager)
- Relevant certifications: GitHub Actions, CKA, CKAD, Azure DevOps Engineer, AI certifications
- Familiarity with test automation and quality assurance practices
