Senior Cost Schedule Controls Engineer
- Pay Rate: $84.40 – $110.00/hour on W2
- Contract Length: 12 months

Overview
- We are seeking a Senior Cost, Schedule, and Controls Engineer with strong expertise in EcoSys and a solid foundation in project controls, data analytics, and database development/deployment.
- This role plays a critical part in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and transparency of project cost and schedule information across key funding and gating milestones.
- The ideal candidate combines deep project controls knowledge with technical capability to support analytics-driven decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and coordinate project cost estimates and schedules for Company-operated and Operated-by-Others (OBO) projects across all Gate and Funding milestones.
- Perform estimate and schedule assurance reviews, including quality checks and validation of cost and schedule bases.
- Develop check estimates and schedules to benchmark OBO operator submittals.
- Maintain change control processes, cost reports, and supporting project controls documentation.
- Partner with project estimators, planners, schedulers, and accounting teams to align financial and project reporting.
- Coordinate and assemble monthly project progress reports.
- Working closely with project managers and discipline leads to supporting regulated and non-regulated accounting and reporting requirements.
- Utilize EcoSys to manage, analyze, and integrate cost and schedule data across the project lifecycle.
- Support data analytics initiatives, including database development and deployment related to project controls.
- Participate in estimating process efficiency initiatives and continuous improvement of quality assurance processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- Previous experience in a closely related cost, schedule, or project controls engineering role.
- Advanced proficiency in Cost Estimating, Project Planning, and Project Controls.
- Required: Hands-on experience with EcoSys (enterprise project performance and controls platform)
- Required: Ability to support data analytics and database development/deployment in a project controls environment.
- Strong understanding of cost, schedule, forecasting, and change management principles.
- Proven ability to influence, consult, and collaborate across internal and external stakeholder groups.
- Strong analytical, computing, mentoring, and problem-solving skills.
- Highly organized, adaptable, and capable of managing cross-functional activities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
