Logistics Specialist
Pay: $20.00/hour and $22.00/hr for 2nd Shift on W2
Work Type: Onsite – Orlando, FL 32822
Work Schedule: Flexible shift | May require nights, weekends and holidays
- 1st Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- 2nd Shift: 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM
Duration: 4-month contract (potential conversion not guaranteed)
Job Overview:
This role operates in a warehouse environment and is responsible for order processing, material handling, shipping/receiving, and inventory support using SAP and other systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming materials using SAP
- Inspect shipments for damage, accuracy, and proper documentation
- Process outgoing shipments to global customers
- Stock and pull materials from inventory
- Package materials for shipment appropriately
- Support cycle counting and inventory tracking
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks regularly
- Work across different warehouse areas as needed
- Perform additional tasks assigned by the team leader
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Driver’s License
- 2+ years of forklift and hand truck operation
- 2+ years of warehouse/logistics experience
- 1+ year of ERP system experience
- 2+ years of Microsoft Excel and Word
- Computer proficiency (Excel required, SAP experience required
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1+ year of SAP experience
- 5+ years of Excel experience
- 2+ years of inventory control or loss prevention experience
- 2+ years of shipping & receiving experience
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift:
- 50 lbs regularly
- Up to 70 lbs occasionally (with assistance)
Additional Requirements:
- Safety shoes required
- Comfortable working in a light industrial environment
- Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience (inventory, shipping/receiving, etc.)
- Must be flexible with shift assignments
- Must be able to work safely in a warehouse setting
