HxGN EAM Technical Analyst
- Pay Rate: $74.00/hour, depending on experience
- Contract Length: 1 year with the potential of renewal for up to one year
- Location: Burnaby, British Columbia
Raise is currently hiring an HxGN EAM Technical Analyst on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader. Our Client, a partnership of 12 municipalities – one Electoral Area and one treaty First Nation. That collaboratively plans for and delivers regional-scale services with its core services being drinking water, wastewater treatment and solid waste management.
Note: The primary pay rate is based on T4 classification; however, we will also consider applications from candidates interested in an INC classification, where applicable.
Description
The HxGN EAM Technical Analyst in this role will help support the Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) Reconfiguration Project Implementation (Phase 2). The goal of the project is to implement new HxGN EAM solutions based on the design completed in the previous phase (2024). The new solutions will address the pain points Metro Vancouver currently has with its HxGN EAM system. This work will typically be performed on-site at our client’s head office in Burnaby, BC. A hybrid of remote work and on-site can be accommodated.
Responsibilities
The HxGN EAM Technical Analyst will work in collaboration with our internal IT EAM Team and will:
- Configure the HxGN EAM software system.
- Develop, test and implement technical solutions
- Perform requirements analysis and provide configuration documentation.
- Set up user accounts, permissions, and access levels.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Write SQL queries for KPIs, SSRS Reports, Database Triggers, and Stored Procedures.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum and develop User Stories as part of the working team.
- This position will work alongside:
- One Senior Business Analyst
- One Senior System Analyst
- One Senior Business Process Analyst
- Asset Management Systems Manager
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience working with HxGN EAM software system.
- Experience in upgrading HxGN EAM software system, including planning, execution, and testing.
- At least 2 years of experience in creating SQL queries.
- Familiarity with software development methodologies and project management principles.
- Experience with Web Services (SOAP/REST) is an asset.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Education and Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field, or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
In addition, this position requires the ability to:
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with a variety of internal contacts.
- Provide advice and assistance on matters related to the work.
- Communicate effectively orally and in writing.
- Perform assigned duties with minimal supervision, although direction will be given.
- Maintain confidentiality.
