HxGN EAM Business Process Analyst
- Pay Rate: $74.00/hour, depending on experience
- Contract Length: 1 year., with the potential of renewal for up to two years
- Location: Burnaby, British Columbia
Raise is currently hiring an HxGN EAM Business Process Analyst on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader. Our Client, a partnership of 12 municipalities, one Electoral Area and one treaty First Nation. It collaboratively plans for and delivers regional-scale services with its core services being drinking water, wastewater treatment and solid waste management.
Note: The primary pay rate is based on T4 classification; however, we will also consider applications from candidates interested in an INC classification, where applicable.
Description
The HxGN EAM Business Process Analyst in this role will help support the Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) Reconfiguration Project Implementation (Phase 2). The goal of the project is to implement new HxGN EAM solutions based on the design completed in the previous phase (2024). The new solutions will address the pain points currently with HxGN EAM system. This work will typically be performed on-site at our client’s head office. A hybrid of remote work and on-site may be accommodated for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
The HxGN EAM Business Process Analyst will work in collaboration with our clients internal IT EAM Team and will:
Understand the existing challenges and business requirements related to work management and infrastructure asset management planning using HxGN EAM software system.
Document and consolidate improved business processes to streamline work management and infrastructure asset management planning using HxGN EAM.
Review and improve data quality for selected dataset(s) in HxGN EAM.
Support internal and external resources to develop working prototypes of EAM configurations and integrations in the following areas:
- Asset Record Management.
- Asset Lifecycle Record, Condition Based Maintenance.
- Work Identification, Planning, Scheduling, Budget.
- Work Execution, Closeout, Condition Assessment Based Maintenance
- Integration with enterprise software including Document Management System (Open Text), Geospatial Information System (Esri GIS) and Financial Management System (Unit4)
- Materials Management and MRO
- EAM Mobile Application including Custom Mobile Application Solution
- This position will work alongside:
- One Senior Business Analyst
- One Senior System Analyst
- One Senior Technical Analyst
- Asset Management Systems Manager
Qualifications
- 5 or more years of business system analysis experience working with HxGN EAM software system.
- Thorough knowledge and experience with the review and implementation of key work management and infrastructure asset management planning and execution processes using HxGN EAM.
- Thorough knowledge and experience with the integration between HxGN EAM and other enterprise software (e.g. GIS, FMS, HR).
- Thorough knowledge and experience with project management as well as Agile practices and frameworks.
- Strong ability to document, analyze and assess business processes, system interactions and to propose consolidated alternative business processes.
- Thorough knowledge of problem definition and analysis related to business processes and systems planning.
- Considerable knowledge of information technology components, processes and developments related to the work performed.
- Considerable knowledge of the functions of departments served and their requirements in information technology.
- Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences.
- Strong organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Education and Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Engineering, or related field, or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
- Certification for Infrastructure Asset Management (e.g. Institute of Asset Management (IAM), Institute of Public Works Engineering Australasia (IPWEA), Plant Engineering and Maintenance Association of Canada (PEMAC)) is an asset.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) designation is an asset.
- Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) and Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) designations are an asset.
In addition, this position requires the ability to:
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with a variety of internal contacts.
- Provide advice and assistance on matters related to the work.
- Communicate effectively orally and in writing.
- Perform assigned duties with minimal supervision, although direction will be given.
- Maintain confidentiality.
